On the way from Te Anau to Milford sound
Mirror Lake (not quite mirror-like today)
Don't want to raft on this!
These little pink triangles mark ferret traps. Ferrets were introduced by some dumb settler and they have been trying to get rid of them ever since (while their flightless birds go extinct)
These cliffs are constantly carrying water
Not too many tour buses on the road
The waterfalls get bigger with the rain
Passengers on deck (trying out the "color accent" setting on the camera)
Lots of trees gripping the granite cliffs.
Trees and Moss
Mom and Julius on the top deck
Other ships in the Fjord
Clouds and rain are the norm
Things can't help but grow here with all the rain
Cliffs of water
Tall mountains peak through the clouds
Below a waterfall
Julius on Deck
Mom on deck
We all got very wet on this trip!
The wind was so strong it blew the top waterfall away
Some seals manage to hang out here
The cliffs are full of minerals, causing discoloration
