Sapa on Vietnamese new years eve (aka Tet). Some puny fireworks went off but the firecrackers really packed a punch.

Partying with the locals! Julius gives a toast at a bar to ring in the new year. We were the bar's first customers of the New (the rest were friends of the owners) so we got a discount on our bar tab. Cheers to that!
